County Operations

Arlington County has met and exceeded the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from County government operations 10 percent by 2012 (from a 2000 baseline).

We are committed to continuing to reduce emissions and reduce spending on energy with efforts focused on county buildings, transportation and fleet, traffic and infrastructure, employee engagement, and our continued development of the County’s Community Energy Plan. Learn more…
