Employee Engagement
As part of its commitment to outreach, the County launched the AIRE Captain program to encourage Arlington County government employees to take action to reduce energy and water consumption. The objectives of the AIRE Captain program are to:
- Educate employees about the benefits of energy savings for our budget and climate, and
- Affect behavioral change by asking employees to take specific environmentally-friendly and low to no-cost actions.
Employees are vitally important to the success of the AIRE program!
