Fire Station 7–Fairlington Fire Station
Fire Station 7 is a small, all-electric building. A lighting retrofit in 2009 has helped to improve its energy performance. In late 2012, the fire station got a new, more efficient heat pump, and had fans installed in the attic to help with summer cooling.
