Fort C.F. Smith Park
Fort C.F. Smith Park is a renovated old house and barn on the grounds of the historic Fort. We discovered an anomaly with the heating system in 2008, which caused increased natural gas use. AIRE has since fixed the heating system and energy consumption returned to previous levels. Late in 2010, the aging heat pumps were replaced here. Public events have increased at the facility, explaining part of the increase in energy use.
