Traffic and Street Lights
- Over half of Arlington County’s traffic lights have been converted to low-energy LED fixtures. In addition to using less energy, LEDs have a longer lifespan and reduce ongoing maintenance needs.
- Hundreds of street lights in the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor have also been replaced with LEDs through a federal grant, and the County continues to retrofit street lights elsewhere.
- The County is working with Dominion so that the utility-owned lights can also be replaced with LEDs.
